From Gardening to Frugal Living, Green Lasagna has it all. We will be adding a lot of great stuff very quickly, so stay tuned!
Green Lasagna is Proud to Support Black Sheep Productions
Black Sheep Productions is a theatre group in Chicago, owned and operated by my son, Vance Smith. He works very hard to support this group, and anyone who is familiar with the theatre knows that it’s not an easy task. Every year, he has a huge yard sale to raise funds for the company. If you are in the Chicago area, and want some great deals, please visit his sale. The flyer says it all. Unfortunately, since this is a screenshot, the links don’t work, but if you can’t go, please consider visiting the site and donating to this very worthy young theatre group.
Thank you for your support.

It’s Official! Green Lasagna is now a dot com!
As of today, greenlasagna.com is a reality. I wanted to see how well the name was accepted, and everyone seemed to love it, so now it’s officially mine.
Other changes to the website will be happening as well:
The homesteading blog will now be mytinyhomestead.com
Lite Living will be myfrugaltips.info
My personal blog will be whatdisay.info.
Of course, The Consummate Gardener will stay the same, but it will now have a sub-blog at soflogardening.info, just for South Florida gardening links and information.
Lot of changes, and I think good ones. Everything has its own name now, and its own domain, which will make it easier for Google to find us.
A Kitchen Fire, Christmas, and Insurance Companies
Yes, I had a kitchen fire on Christmas and am now dealing with insurance companies…and mortgage companies…and trying to get estimates for repairs, and work, and I’ve been sick.
And it’s cold here tonight.
Not fun at all, believe me, but just in case you need something to read, I’m now writing for Bright Hub under the Green Living category. I write mostly on Urban Homesteading, Recycling, and Gardening right now, but hope to be adding some Environmental Science articles on the Florida ecology.
Of course, being the totally schizoid-internet-freaky kinda person I am, I have a totally different i.d. over there. Just click on the link on the sidebar, and you’ll find me.
I’m also doing a series on Associated Content about South Florida Gardening, so I’ll be posting some of those articles on Twitter from time to time. There’s a link to them on the sidebar as well.
Or if you live and garden in Florida, you’ll enjoy my new Facebook group,
Florida Gardening Friends. Of course, over there I’m cgardener, which stands for Consummate Gardener, which many of you know if my gardening blog’s name.
So I’ve been sorta busy, what with all this writing and personal stuff. I’ve updated the right sidebar to include all my latest endeavors, so explore as you wish.
I don’t have a blogroll yet, so if you’d like to be on it, just email me with your blog name and a link, and I’ll add you. Of course, it has to have something to do with frugal living, simplicity, green living, gardening, homesteading, or some other related topic.
Happy Greening!
Deborah
Don’t Give Up On Me!
Life has a way of getting crazy, especially around the holidays. Since I don’t have adsense anymore (well, I could if I wanted to, but I’m boycotting Google), I’m blogging for free here on WordPress, so sometimes I have to write those money making articles instead.
This year will bring some changes to Green Lasagna.
#1 I’m going to get my own site so I can do some affiliate and ad marketing. I’ll still be using WordPress, so the look won’t change, just the little unobtrusive ads on the site to hopefully support it.
#2 I’m going to start back doing my crafting and selling some on Etsy. I’m trying to figure out how to do green crafts with recycled materials. Stay tuned for that!
#3 I’ll be selling organic/open pollinated seeds from my veggies and flowers somewhere. Don’t really know where yet, so stay tuned.
All that will be taking up a lot of my time, plus I have to do that money making stuff, you know, so if I don’t post often, please forgive me.
Just subscribe to my feed, and you can keep up as I roll along.
Happy Greening!
